Retro ‘90s VW T4 camper with heating, wood panelling, red and black leather seating, and a carpeted living area. Sleeps 2. A fun, compact van—small enough to park in regular car parks and drive on narrow roads, and nice and warm at night. (Non-UK license holders will need to try Just Kampers insurance - drop me a message for details.)THE VANThe cab features a captain’s seat with foldable armrests. There is a Bluetooth radio with USB charging.There are 3 seatbelt positions in the front, including a central lap belt (there are no rear belts), but I’d recommend two people for this van.The living area has a fixed roof with wood panelling. There is a double gas stove and a cold water sink. A built-in leisure battery provides you with lighting, heating, and charging for mobile devices, as well as a 12V socket for the powered cool box. If you want mains power for longer stays, electrical hookup is available via an external cable to connect to campsite power supplies.The van is fitted with a diesel-powered air heater. It’s pretty toasty in the summer, but for winter or cold nights, this will keep you warm.The front passenger seat can fold down flat or swivel around to create more seating in the living area. There is a removable dining table, which fits in the centre of the living space. Optional wooden legs can be added to the central table for picnics outside.Cutlery, crockery, pans, a kettle, and a stove-top espresso kettle are provided.The rock and roll bed converts from rear seating into a double bed. Blankets are provided. You can bring your own bedding, or bedding can be hired for a small additional laundry fee (undersheet, top sheet, two sleeping bags, pillows with cases).A bike rack is available, which holds up to 2 bikes on the rear of the van—please request this at the time of booking, as the default setup is without the rack (additional fee applies).LOCATIONPick up in Penrith, North Lakes.If you’d like an earlier pick-up or later drop-off, let me know—for longer stays, this can usually be accommodated depending on bookings either side of yours.
