Turnpike Farm is the place to be for a no-frills, serene camping holiday filled with stunning sunsets and the chance to observe heaps of local wildlife like rabbits and birds. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birdsong as you sip on a steaming mug of coffee and watch yet another glorious sunset in these pristine corners of England. The site provides campers with two lush fields for pitching or parking up, with access to both seasonal pitches and electric hookups if required. The owners aim to encourage the local wildlife to come and have a nose around the new guests, with long, unmoved grass areas. Communal amenities are limited to the essentials, including toilets, drinking water access, chemical disposal, rubbish and recycling facilities, plus an Elson point. Turnpike Farm is not suited for guests in need of evening entertainment and a wealth of creature comforts at hand. This is the place for serene countryside camping, limited amenities, and a rustic camping atmosphere perfect for relaxing escapes from modern life complexities. The owners ask that all pets remain on a lead at all times. A farm shop supplying essentials for campfires and barbeques rests a 200-meter distance from the campsite.
