Highfield Farm Touring Park is a spacious, green touring park located an ideal 5-mile distance from the buzzing city of Cambridge. Cambridge offers visitors an intoxicating blend of bucolic riverside walks and country air paired with renowned attractions like King’s College Chapel and city tours on wheels. The peaceful park extends over some 8-acres on a working farm, enveloped by leafy trees, hedges, and conifers. Set in the striking, rolling countryside, this welcoming campsite is an ideal base for getting better acquainted with attractions and activities around, be it afternoons of pottering about in quiet villages or a day at the races at nearby Newmarket. Campers partial to shopping will find an array of stores plus an excellent collection of eateries and pubs for a well-earned break amidst the frantic swiping of credit cards. Outdoor lovers can shun the cities of the open green spaces, including gentle walks on the River Cam, followed by lunch on the terrace of a riverside pub. A short walk will take guests to a handy bus stop in Cambridge, and there is a fast train service from Cambridge to London, leaving every half hour.
