Embrace the peace as you kick back and admire waterside views at Riverside Caravan Camping Park, a magnificent riverside park nestled just outside the friendly village of Littleport. It’s time to slow things down at this tranquil countryside park, where gentle riverside walks give way to well-earned stops for grub and food at a riverside pub. Spend your days kicking back on the spacious site and enjoy a range of water-based pursuits at a pace of choice. Find a peaceful sheltered fishing spot and try catching perch, pike, carp and roach with permits obtainable at the site for a modest fee. The wide river is also an excellent spot for launching a canoe and soaking in the scenery from a different angle. Active types can head out for a bit of a walk, starting with a riverside amble directly from the park, or explore trails nearby, including the WWT Welney wetland centre or Thetford Forest Park; both located a respective ten and half hour drive away. For some sun, sea, and sand mosey over to the Norfolk coast, set approximately 45-minutes away. Don’t forget to bring along barbeque bits on your way back to the base for relaxing evenings under the stars. Canine companions are most welcome to tag along.
