The site rests on a beautiful pine plantation in Ashbourne and provides campers with a beautifully-landscaped space to sit back and admire the local scenery. The pitches rest in open clearings, separated by leafy trees, giving each plot a sense of privacy and quiet. Walkers, cyclists and nature lovers are searching for a base to explore the lush beauty of Dovedale. The enclosing areas are perfectly positioned for walks, cycling routes, and lovely local villages with cosy pubs. The site holds mainly hardstanding pitches with access to electric meters and excellent amenities. Well-behaved canines are welcome. Stroll to Carsington Lake and stop at the Visitor Centre for well-earned snacks of tea and cake. A lovely fish and chip wagon serves a hot meal on Fridays, while a pizza wagon rumbles by on Saturdays.
