Get right down to a range of very English sports shooting events and country sporting activities at Yeaveley Estate. This privately-owned, adults-only estate also serves as one of the oldest shooting schools in England. The welcoming site boasts a rich history as one of the first five shooting grounds in the nation. It offers guests of all ages and abilities a range of exciting activities, including riddle shooting, pigeon shooting, archery, falconry, fly fishing and Hovercrafting. Guests can pick from several cabin accommodations with slight variations. The Nordic Cabins features eight bunk beds. Each bed comes with a memory foam mattress, pillow, fitted sheets and a duvet. The Nordic cabins have a covered porch area, a solar dome for natural lighting and double glazing for keeping the cold at bay during the colder winter months. The Stag and Hen Party Pod has most of the amenities of the Nordic Cabins with a few changes. These pods come kitted out with an LCD TV with Freeview – perfect for unwinding after an active day of adventure or for rainy days inside. There is a separate kitchen building for whipping up light meals and snacks. The barbeque cabins feature a large central barbeque and fire pit that vents through the chimney. There are bench seats with reindeer skins and heaps of soft cushions for comfortable seating while you grill and savour your tipple. Canines are most welcome.
