Scaldersitch Farm Campsite

Scaldersitch Farm Campsite

Located: Campsites in Buxton, Derbyshire

If you enjoy invitingly swish glamping abodes and handmade artisan cheese, pack your bags and make your way to Scaldersitch Farm Campsite, a small, exclusive glampsite tucked away in the rolling greenery of the famed Peak District National Park. The farm provides campers with five uniquely crafted abodes, all located a mere mile from the pretty village of Hartington, which boasts an independent cheeses shop, farm shop, village stores, and eateries. There’s no excuse to miss a chance to get out in the open air as scenic, peaceful walks begin right from the farmyard and lead to beautiful areas like Beresford Dale and the Manifold Valley. Guests can pick from two yurts and three tipis, all beautifully furnished with splendid views out over the enclosing pastoral settings. All the units feature a spacious outdoor seating area and well-marked paths that lead to the newly renovated Old Dairy Washrooms and Old Cartshed Barn Kitchen, which are equipped with everything required for a stress-free self-catering stay. The camping meadow holds several pre-pitched tents that are well spaced out for privacy, with a communal kitchen area for whipping up light meals. Bring along bits for the barbeque grill and enjoy alfresco afternoons or hire a firepit for some singing under the stars. Sorry, no pets allowed.
