Nestled in a fantastic location in the Golden Valley, sandwiched between Hay-on-Wye and Hereford, Byecross Farm Campsite is a stunning spot for the tent and touring escapes from reality. The friendly site is the perfect base for relaxing getaways devoid of the blaring evening entertainment and congested cramping accommodation of high-density parks. Owners Tony and Sharon Fenn are at hand to offer a warm welcome and answer all your questions on the site and the local area. The tent and touring pitches are spread out over two lush apple orchards ideally positioned on the banks of the sparkling River Wye. Campers are welcome to pitch or park up in a spot that takes their fancy. There is excellent road access for all sizes of motorhomes and caravans, and spacious pitches make it easy to stretch out and enjoy country life while sipping on a drink of choice. Fishing and canoe launching is available at the river, so feel free to bring your gear for hours of water-based activities. The owners encourage campfires and sell wood on the premises, making it easy for guests to enjoy the activities of a traditional camping holiday. Canines are most welcome yet must remain on a lead at all times. If traditional camping seems more of a hassle than a holiday, why not stay in a candle-lit yurt?
