Wagtail Country Park is a welcoming family-run caravan and motorhome park nestled in the lush, peaceful surroundings of the romantic Lincolnshire countryside, affording stunning vistas over the green surroundings. Transformed under the leadership of a new owner, the welcoming park served as a small campsite for wandering souls for many years. Today the roomy park features a revamped camping area set alongside a peaceful, large fishing lake, which entices angling folk. The renovated camping area now holds 76 touring pitches, of which some are seasonal. All plots are hardstanding and come equipped with 16 amp electric hookups. All bases are shielded from other guests by a raised flower beds, grass borders, or timber beams, offering a sense of privacy for quiet camping. Sadly, tents are not accepted on the base. Wagtail Country Park is a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site Scheme yet welcomes visitors who are not members. Kick back and savour the tranquil rural settings. Anglers can enjoy access to two of the three fishing lakes set in Wagtail Fisheries, located next to the site. Walkers can amble along three circular walks that kick off from the village nearby. Shops, pubs and restaurants are a short drive away in Newark and Grantham. Pets welcome.
