If you’re not looking forward to wrestling with tent pegs or driving a rather cumbersome touring vehicle around the country, pack light and sweep into a spacious camping pod. The owners encourage barbeques, so feel free to fire up the grill and settle in for alfresco afternoons. When the urge to explore arises, set out to the nearby market town of Louth and potter around the market held Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Excellent pubs serving delicious hot or cold grub and drinks rest an ideal mile away from the campsite.
