The Royal Oak is a lovely little Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site attached to a great country pub set behind the village green in the picturesque and sleepy village of Car Colston. The site looks out across 29 acres of village greens, widely believed to be the most extensive rural common in England, and boasts a 200-year-old pub building certain to entice the history buffs. Sit down to the scrumptious culinary delights of cheery Vicky, and let Richard take over duties behind the bar keeping up a steady stream of social lubricant. Guests can try traditional real ales or snack on locally sourced meats, fish and veggies. Kick back on this peaceful certificated site, and spend a relaxing escape in a picturesque position.
