The site welcomes guests throughout the year and enjoys a handy position for explores and adventures in the forest, which brims with meandering walking and cycling routes for all ages and abilities. Guests are welcome to sit back and savour the picturesque settings holding an abundance of mature trees and shrubs home to varying flora and fauna. The site also rests within easy reach of exciting family-friendly activities provided by Forestry England, including adventure playgrounds, bike hire, Go Ape adventures, and peaceful picnic areas for alfresco nibbles. Sherwood Forest Holiday Park is a full-facility campsite offering pitches to suit everyone, including all-weather pitches and electric hook-ups. Small tents to large motorhomes are more than welcome to pitch or park up and enjoy the scenic settings of the ancient forest of Sherwood. Nature lovers can also enjoy the wildlife on the banks of River Maun on which the campsite rests. Barbeques are encouraged, and pets are most welcome to stay.
