Lakeside Touring Caravans is a Caravan and Camping certified site welcoming tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. The lovely quiet campsite lies focused around two sparkling fishing lakes and offers generous pitches set in the grass, enveloped by a sprinkling of leafy trees, which give an element of shade without blocking out the sun and views of the gleaming lakes on-site. New owners Carol and Phil have taken over from the former team and earn rave reviews for improving a firm favourite with many campers with picturesque landscaped grounds, spotless facilities and a helpful and hardworking attitude that all campers feel and often point out in the reviews. The site rests smack bang in the middle of sprawling farmland with no access to a restaurant, shop or pub: however, the lively town of Lincoln rests a mere ten-minute drive away and holds a range of local amenities. Campers are also placed a short drive from Saxilby, which shops, pubs, takeaways and plenty of eateries. Angling folk are welcome to spend as many hours as they please by the two well-stocked lakes with plenty of fishing pegs available if required. Clean and well-maintained communal facilities include hot showers, a toilet block, a washing up area, laundry, drinking water access and disabled-friendly features. Pets most welcome.
