The secluded, small campsite rests in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides happy campers with some of the most striking countrysides in Shropshire. Guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and scenic vistas while resting in the picturesque village of Little Stretton, only a few miles south of Church Stretton, which rests at the base of Long Mynd, providing stunning views of the enclosing countryside. There is an abundance of opportunities for walking types with routes cutting through verdant valleys like Callow Hollow and Ashes Hollow. Active and hardy sorts can join the small group that takes to the Shropshire Hills to tackle a 50-mile hike. At the same time, those less motivated to sweat and strain during a holiday are welcome to follow a rewarding 7-mile round trip that rather handily deposits parched walkers at the local Green Dragon pub, set just four miles from the base and a short amble from the camping pitches. Tents and touring vehicles are welcome, with shared access to toilets, hot showers, washing up area, drinking water points, and chemical disposal. Pets are most welcome here.
