Mile Bank Farm is a peaceful, spacious campsite nestled in the heart of the stunning North Shropshire countryside. The centrally located site rests an ideal mile from the historic town of Whitchurch, which holds several cosy pubs, a collection of eateries, a golf course, excellent fishing lakes, and scenic strolls along the Sandstone trail nearby. Animal mad campers of all ages are welcome to come over between February and April to witness the lambing season and pamper the many pets on the farm. The site provides year-round camping for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There are 53 seasonal pitches set out on three fields, plus a 2-acre touring caravan and camping field with access to a handy on-site shop. Modern, clean facilities include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water points, chemical disposal and disabled-friendly features. Spend your days kicking back at the site, enjoying the lush, green surroundings with a cold one in hand, with brief breaks to pet a friendly donkey or help the young ones feed the farm animals. If you tire of the inactivity, don walking shoes and pop into lovely country pubs, watch the narrowboats on the gleaming Llangollen canal or brush up on your golfing skills at the Macdonald Hill Valley Spa and Golf club.
