History buffs can explore the ruins of Croxden Abbey, which is also visible from the campsite, just 1 mile away. A long list of activities on the premises eliminates the need to travel around to indulge in fun and exercise. Spend peaceful mornings ambling through the woods, letting the gentle trills of birdsong soothe the mind and ears. Grab a pair of field glasses (or politely borrow them) to observe an array of bird species in the trees or make friends with the friendly farm animals near the site. Wood Farm welcomes tents, small campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. Pets are most welcome to trot along.
