The Lenches Lakes is a spacious, family-friendly site that serves as an ideal base for campers in need of a rural escape complete with on-site fishing and the chance to observe a wealth of local wildlife. The peaceful site welcomes campervans, motorhomes and caravan owners to set up camp on roomy grass pitches with electric hook-ups and enjoy quiet camping stay nestled amid trees on a large, flat grassy field. Two well-stocked fishing lakes boast a character of their own and the chance for fly fishers to pit their wits against health fighting rainbow and blue trout. Communal amenities are limited to just drinking water points, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for back to basics camping stays. Tuition, tackle, and an excellent collection of flies are available. Fishing is available for both season and day tickets, and the owners also make provisions for disabled anglers to enjoy the thrills of fishing. The Spring Lake boasts open vistas and a natural reed bed that makes it a hotspot in summer, with a minimum of 16 stands. Whitsun Lake is secluded and provides equally good stands, shelves, depths, ridges and a tree-studded island. A licensed clubhouse has tea, coffee, and yummy snacks like bacon sandwiches and pies. Pets most welcome.
