The family-owned and family-friendly Poplars Touring Park is an excellent base for well-earned escapes from the distractions of modern life. The site consists of a small touring park and a six-bedroom motel for guests who prefer to enjoy bed and breakfast stays. There is a mix of grass and hardstanding plots with optional electric connections for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Seasonal pitches and caravan storage is also available. Clean facilities include the standard toilets, hot showers, washing up area, drinking water points, gas exchange and chemical disposal. There is no designated play area: however, there is plenty of space for the little ones to run about and ride their bikes. Guests can mingle with fellow campers or take a minute to gaze out at the views at the seating area outside. Food and the occasional bevvy is available a short trot away, courtesy of a friendly, cosy pub to the right of the park. There are several coastal walks within easy reach, and the site rests on the fringes of Bridlington, affording easy access for coastal capers. Take a relaxing stroll to the beach or take a look at the model village in the seaside town, or take a half-mile walk to Sewerby Hall. Pets are most welcome.
