Whether you’re looking for a stopover on a long drive from Essex to the Lake District or require a tranquil, well-maintained spot to set up your gear before heading out for sightseeing and open-air adventures. The site enjoys a peaceful and viewsome location on the fringes of Harrogate in North Yorkshire and overlooks sprawling open countryside. While one may be forgiven for assuming the campsite rests in a remote location, Dyke Bottom Farm is under 2 ½ miles from the centre of Harrogate, which boasts excellent eating establishments, shops and several tourist attractions. Make the campsite your base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, with York and Leeds, all located a 30-minute car ride away, or sit back on this working farm and snack on fresh eggs courtesy of the site’s small flock of hens. The owners provide 10 amp EHU, water, toilet disposal and the usual waste and recycling facilities. Unfortunatley bookings of one night are not accepted. Please note that the site does not have any toilets or showers on-site. They are also unable to accommodate Motorhomes over 7.5 meters in length due to the farm lane access. The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk from our site. CL members and pets are welcome. Ask to speak to Ellie to check availability in their booking diary.
