Set in 140-acres of lush, serene countryside, Lido Leisure Park is a spacious and relaxed campsite nestled at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales, providing sweeping vistas overlooking the River Nidd. This peaceful park features a range of holiday homes positioned on a series of wooden terraces, many looking out over the sparkling river and lush woodland forest. There is an independently run clubhouse on the premises with a spacious lounge bar area, serving up a range of piping hot, homemade meals throughout the week. Access to food on-site eliminates the need to drive around and serves as a great space to return to after an exhausting day of adventures and sightseeing. The park also has a fantastic independently run café with a cracking balcony overlooking the sparkling River Nidd. Guest are welcome to pop by during eleven months of the year, providing adventuring sorts with a restful, well-equipped base for family-friendly escapes. The surrounding area brims with things to see, including Knaresborough Castle and museum, the incredible House on the Rock, and Mother Shipton’s Cave – the oldest tourist attraction in England. Earnest anglers can enjoy their sport directly from the park as Lido Leisure contains fishing rights along the banks of the River Nidd. Pets are welcome.
