Clapham Caravan Park is a hidden gem within the camping community, and the regulars would like to keep it a secret spot for as long as possible. The site rests on the windswept Clapham Moor, on the northern fringe of the beautiful Forest of Bowland. Campers are promised fantastic views across the Wenning Valley towards Ingleborough to the northwest and Pen Y Ghent to the northeast, irrespective of whichever pitch you pick. The shimmering River Wenning flows below the campsite, winding its way near Clapham Station, where one can hop aboard the odd steam ride. Visitors can access the grounds from A65, and the welcoming owners are flexible with arrivals long before the traditional noon start time. Clapham Caravan Park is a caravan and motorhome club certificated location with five hardstanding electric pitches and statics for hire. Dogs are welcome.
