Swinton Bivouac forms part of the 20,000-acre Swinton Estate, which brims with rural adventures and swish abodes for friends and family. The site rests in a striking location, in some of the most picturesque environs of the Yorkshire Dales, providing adventuring types with a splendid place to rests their head on an eco-friendly, off-grid Dales camping experience. The sprawling estate lies tucked amid the less jagged, arguably more refined rolling greenery, consisting of vast meadows and quiet woodland, presenting guests with a scenic, tranquil base for kicking back and enjoying a welcome respite from the distractions of modern life. The meadow yurts are positioned on a hillside location, affording panoramic vistas of the North Yorkshire landscape. Each yurt has sleeping space for four, come equipped with a wood-burning stove and other creature comforts like bed linen, towels, robes, and wood for your fire. Charming tree lodges are nestled amid the woodland, a 5-minute trot from the bivouac shop and cafe. These authentic, rustic abodes sleep seven and feature a gas ring, hot water, and items like bed linen and towels. The lodges and yurts do not have electricity, so pack accordingly. Meals from the café can be dropped off at your door if required, and pets are most welcome to tag along.
