The family-owned and family-run Bank Top Farm is a spacious, lush and utterly tranquil campsite hidden away amid the rolling greenery of the North York Moors National Park. Spectacular views, fresh air, and the freedom to lounge or explore make this viewsome site an excellent spot for escaping the hectic pace of the rat race. Weary guests can swap packed schedules, ringing phones, and crowded city streets with mile upon mile of green, open spaces filled with birdsong by day, and clear views of the sparkling sky at sundown. The site lies largely enveloped by quiet countryside and mature woodland, affording jaw-dropping sceneries over the Vale of Pickering. The town of Pickering rests a smooth 5-miles north of the base. There is plenty of space for the wee adventurers to scamper about, enjoy ball games and make friends with fellow mini travellers. An estimated 30 grass pitches with electric hook-ups are ideal for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Excellent amenities include a modern toilet and shower block with underfloor heating, separate family and disabled-friendly features, a laundry room, a covered pot washing area, a fridge with freezer, drinking water points and chemical disposal. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, and there is direct access for woodland walkies.
