High Rigg Farm is a lovely, family-friendly campsite tucked away in the rolling, green heart of the Dalby Forest, providing family-friendly escapes with access to scenic walks and the thrills of Go Ape. The site lies hidden within the North Yorkshire moorland and serves as a laidback base exploring The Great Yorkshire Forest. There is a large designated area for tent campers: however, the owners take care not to overcrowd the site, accepting just ten tents at any given time. Small campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome to park up on the independent, fully licensed six van camping area, allowing non-members the freedom to rumble in and enjoy the peaceful camping atmosphere. Electric connections are available on both the tent and touring fields. The limited number of guests ensures that kids have ample space to kick a ball around and frolic in the tented area under parents' watchful gaze. Communal facilities are limited to the essentials, like a toilet and shower block with hot water, a pot washing area, drinking water points and chemical disposal. The site also has six spacious camping pods, two standard abodes for couples, and four family units with sleeping space for four. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead and are not permitted in the camping pods.
