With a variety of accommodation options, North Shire is a splendid, family-friendly campsite, ideally located a short distance from numerous local attractions. The family-oriented site welcomes couples and families who want to kick back on a pretty, peaceful site for a unique family escape. Animal lovers of all ages will be pleased to make friends and feed the animal residents on-site. Free-range chickens are often found vigorously scratching at the ground or having a nose around the campers. Peacocks call out to one another and put on a dazzling display with their ornate trains. This idyllic spot is perfect for getting away from it all, and a collection of camping abodes make it easy to find a budget-friendly option. The site holds ten hardstanding plots for touring vehicles (including seasonal pitches), ten pitches for tents, and five electric connections. In addition to touring and camping, North Shire also offers stays in the Le Petit Chateau, which has space for eight, and the Shire House, with space for six. The Ground Keeper’s Cottage has ample room to sleep six adventurers for a week’s escape comfortably. Communal amenities include a toilet block, showers, a pot washing area, play area and chemical disposal. Sadly, no pets are permitted in the glamping units or the camping field.
