The site rests on the banks of the gleaming River Swale, in the heart of the rolling greenery of the North Yorkshire countryside, just 2-miles from the bustling town of Richmond, which also serves as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Set up camp on a level field alongside the river and sip on a cold beverage of choice as you survey the landscaped grounds with over 150 species of shrubs and trees, encouraging a plethora of birds and small wildlife to the area. There are over 100 seasonal pitches plus 27 fully-serviced seasonal pitches. Touring and camping pitches contain a mix of soft and hardstanding plots with optional electric connections. Clean and well-maintained facilities include the standard toilet and shower block, a pot washing area, drinking water points, a laundry room, chemical disposal and designated disabled-friendly conveniences. A shop on the premises has camping essentials, and an on-site restaurant sorts meals. There is a games room and a kid’s playground for keeping the young ones entertained.
