The team at Beacon Farm have taken great care to create a quiet, open, and well-equipped camping space dedicated to families, with pocket-friendly charges and a lovely countryside setting that truly feels like one is miles away from it all. Guests can also enjoy the added benefit of a central position, a few miles just outside Whitby, providing quick access to the stunning Yorkshire Coast. The young ones can dip their toes in the cool ocean waves while the sun lovers find a lovely spot to stretch out and unwind. There are plenty of family-friendly amusements and beachside eateries to grab a bite after a day of pottering around the seaside resorts on the coastline. Walk or drive back to the base for a peaceful evening of soaking in the stunning sunset sky. Beacon Farm welcomes tent, small campervan, motorhomes and caravan owners to set up camp on a mix of soft and hardstanding plots with optional electric meters. The owners do not like to jam pitches on the field, opting instead to leave a comfortable distance between the plots, allowing campers the freedom to stretch out and appreciate the relaxing atmosphere. At the same time, the kids enjoy the space for ball games. Camping pitches are not marked out, so feel free to pitch or park up in a spot that takes your fancy. There is a shop on the premises, and pets are most welcome to tag along.
