Acomb Grange is a peaceful, friendly Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site of historical importance, perfectly positioned for exploring the attractions in the vibrant city of York, located a mere 3-miles away. The site is an excellent base for exploring the city and the mist-clad moorlands in the North York Moors National Park, as well as an array of attractions sprinkled around Yorkshire. The area boasts some of the warmest weather in England. Campers can look forward to sunny days for coastal and countryside frolics. Local amenities like supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, a swimming pool and sporting facilities are all available within easy reach. The site holds a fully licensed caravan site and several self-catering static holiday homes, providing campers with budget-friendly accommodation. This is a certificated site, with just five grass plots with electric connections for small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There is ample space for tents and awnings, so feel free to spread out and enjoy the roomy pitches on this idyllic campsite. The self-catering abodes have ample space for sleeping three adventurers in comfort. They feature a range of creature comforts, like a double bed, separate folding bed, power shower, bed linen, towels, microwave, TV, and an electric heater. A regular bus service rumbles into York from the site. Sorry, Acomb Grange does not accept pets.
