Country Park is an adults-only seasonal touring park, ideally positioned for exploring the scenery and settlements in North Yorkshire. The nearby village of Strensall is a very short drive away, with several shops, a pub, and eateries. Guests can also access the shopping stores at Monks Cross and Clifton Moor. There is a golf course and several beautiful public houses just around the corner from the campsite, so feel free to amble over when the need for a game of golf or tipple arises. Country Park also affords quick access to the excellent facilities and attractions in the historic city of York. There are so many exciting things to enjoy, so feel free to don your walking shoes and explore the attractions in this historic city. Explore the magnificent York Minster; find your way out of the York Maze, tour the exhibits while you learn local history at Jorvik Viking Centre, or walk along the centuries-old Roman walls. Stroll through the renowned Shambles, tour the National Railway Museum, peek inside the York Dungeon, or hop in a boat and take in the scenery from a different angle on the river. Country Park has grass and hardstanding pitches here, with electric meters for touring vehicles only. Dogs on leads are welcome on the premises.
