Moor End Farm

The small, family-run, and wonderfully peaceful Moor End Farm is a handy base for guests who want to explore the famed attractions in the bustling city of York, located a mere 15-minute distance away. The lovely site rests in the sleepy village of Acaster Malbis and enjoys a stunning countryside setting that is perfect for escaping the stress and schedules of the modern world. Established in 1965, Moor End Farm provides campers with open space, rural vistas and spacious pitches for a restful countryside escape. This family-friendly site welcomes tents and touring vehicles owners to set up camp on generous grass pitches with optional electric hook-ups. There is a total of 12 touring pitches evenly spread out to provide campers with ample space to stretch out and enjoy a slice of privacy from fellow campers. Guests who do not enjoy the back to basics camping approach can look into hiring one of seven static caravan holiday homes on the premises. York rests a mere 4-miles away, providing excellent access to numerous famed attractions, including York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, York Racecourse, Middlethorpe Hall, and Castle Howard. Take a 5-minute stroll from the site to reach the river bus or head out for peaceful riverside walks. Well-behaved pets are most welcome.
