Sandhill Farm is a quiet and relaxing site located approximately half-acre, a considerable distance from the main road, yet a short stroll from the farmhouse. The peaceful lawned campsite rests close to the market town of Easingwold, an approximate 3-miles’ away, and is often touted as one of North Yorkshire’s best kept secrets. Sit back and let out a sigh of contentment as you savour the restful atmosphere and dreamily gaze out at stunning views overlooking the Vale of York. Enjoy waking up on your own to the gentle trills and soothing warbles of birdsong, and appreciate the unrivalled peace that comes with setting up camp on a tidy, well-equipped site, well-positioned away from the blare of traffic on the main roads. The nearest village, Husthwaite, rests within walking distance from the farm and has a very small shop for sorting basic camping essentials. Guests can easily access the campsite via the A19, and it takes an estimated 20-minutes’ to reach the York Ringroad, with a park and ride for the centre of York. Active types can enjoy plenty of strolls from the gate due to the campsite’s location amid the viewsome Yorkshire Dales. Sandhill Farm holds several grass pitches with electricity, ideally suited for tents and touring vehicles. Facilities are limited to drinking water points and chemical disposal. Pets are welcome.
