Hesleyside Huts

Hesleyside Huts

Located: Campsites in Hexham, Northumberland

If you’re tired of sleeping on uneven ground or prefer the creature comforts of home on holiday, make your way over to Hesleyside Huts. This luxury glamping retreat lies tucked away on the manicured and historic grounds of the 4,000-acre Hesleyside Estate. The site is ideally positioned in the peaceful Northumberland National Park, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each abode is uniquely designed, presenting guests with luxurious cabins and huts, generously spaced out to provide maximum privacy. Hesleyside Hall has been the home of the Charlton family for over 750-years. It serves as an excellent base for guests who want comfort, excellent facilities, and updated abodes, equipped with everything required for a peaceful escape. Step through the door of the shepherd’s huts and be greeted by chic furnishings, far removed from the humble sleeping abodes of yore. Each unit features electricity, a fully furnished kitchen, and a toasty log stove for keeping the cold at bay. Essentials like toiletries, kitchen utensils, lanterns and logs are provided, making all who stay here feeling catered for throughout their stay. The layout consists of an en-suite bathroom, a massive king-size bed, and cosy twin bunks. The romantic estate grounds plus the expansive national park around the site adds to the overall atmosphere. Campfires are encouraged. Sorry, no pets are allowed on the premises.
