Wild Northumbrian Tipis and Yurts is a splendidly remote and secluded hideaway, nestled amid lush rural settings, providing the perfect atmosphere for a get-away-from-it-all escape. Northumberland is a beautiful, yet often-overlooked location for peaceful countryside escapes. While the area may not have the gleaming lakes of Cumbria or the lovely Celtic fringe of Cornwall, the county has plenty to offer in the way of natural beauty. Rolling heather-clad moorlands beckon those who appreciate natural beauty, boasting a National Park status and plenty to explore on foot or bikes. The well-maintained 25-acre site holds five secluded, cosy yurts and two shepherd’s huts, providing an excellent array of creature comforts. Owners Bob and Vicky often earn glowing reviews from contented guests, taking great care to ensure your stay is nothing short of pleasant and restful. Everything is taken care of and presented in a foolproof manner, making it unnecessary for meet and greets. The yurts are stunning handcrafted beauties, each equipped with enough space to rival some hotel rooms and sleeping space for 4-6 persons. There are three tipis on the premises, each larger than the standard abodes, with space to sleep between 6-8 people. The units are generously spaced out, affording plenty of quiet and privacy. Pets are welcome.
