Highburn House Country Holiday Park is a lovely family-run site nestled on a small working farm. The park enjoys a scenic position in the Cheviot Hills, on the fringes of the stunning Northumberland National Park. The site serves as an excellent base for active, outdoorsy types who want nothing more than to explore the lush rural landscapes of northern England, potter around the leafy Scottish borders area, or head over to bonny Scotland for a round of sightseeing and adventure. The camping space is well-sheltered by trees, and all pitches provide fantastic views of the pastoral landscape. Several scenic footpaths lead straight from the park into the peaceful, green Northumberland National Park leading to shimmering ponds and the chance to observe an abundance of wildlife. The small market town of Wooler, with its shops, restaurants, and pubs, rest a trifling 500 yards away, providing quick access to food and other amenities. There are 40 privately owned static holiday homes for sale and one well-appointed holiday cottage for rent. Tents and tourers can pitch or park up on a mix of grass or hardstanding plots with optional electricity. Fully-serviced plots are also available for comfortable camping stays. Well-behaved pets are most welcome to tag along..
