Parkwood Activity Centre is a pleasant, quiet site located on the grounds of one of the UK's most famous off-road venues. Set in the heart of the Tong village, the site is enveloped by open Yorkshire countryside and boasts scenic views that pair beautifully with the graded off-road routes for all levels. Get your wheels muddy as you rumble past winching banks, hill ponds, and tall trees and enjoy the expert advice of dedicated marshals. If you'd prefer to enjoy quieter countryside pursuits, feel free to hop on the scenic walking routes, footpaths and bridleways crisscrossing the area. The Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site holds a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches with access to drinking water, chemical disposal, and a toilet block. There is a fishing lake on-site and a group of fluffy alpacas in the fields next to the campsite. The local pub is just a five-minute walk away.
