The campsite rests in an elevated position with lovely 180-degree panoramic vistas of Wharfedale and Washburn Valley. Head out to explore the Dales and Washburn valley, a sparkling tributary of the Wharfe, providing mile upon mile of stunning scenic strolls to enjoy at dawn, dusk or anytime in between. The area is known as the ‘mini Lake District’ owing to several footpaths that snake around four shimmering reservoirs ideal for water-based antics like white water canoeing and fly fishing. Make your way back to the base after an eventful day and kick back on your grass or hardstanding plot with optional electric meters.
