Kick it at Crofton Hall, a beautiful Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District. While the site does not sit within the bounds of the National Park, it is handily positioned an easy 20-minute drive from hotspots like the Solway coast, Buttermere and Skiddaw, Keswick, and more. The site rests within the beautifully-maintained walled garden of Crofton Estate, a few miles south of west of the lively Carlisle, and sits a short drive from the popular Lakeland town of Cockermouth. The pitches are spacious, and some guests even go so far as to commend the owners for providing perhaps the largest plots of any CL Site. There is ample room to stretch out, and each base has a hedging on both sides for that added slice of privacy. All plots are hardstanding with a grass area for setting up awnings or camping equipment. Dogs are welcome.
