Englethwaite Hall Caravan Club Site is a very peaceful campsite ducked in the lush Eden Valley, on the fringes of the High Stand Forest, providing guests with tranquil settings brimming with an abundance of thriving wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive and rare red squirrels, darting along leafy branches and foraging in the shrubs. The owners have taken the time to add a viewing hide hut for keen nature lovers to observe the varying species that frequent this near-untamed landscape. Tucked amid the stunning greenery of the Eden valley, the site rests against a spectacular backdrop of the leafy High Stand Forest. It serves as a specially popular location for walkers with mile upon mile of winding footpaths leading to uncrowded landscapes and jaw-dropping natural beauty. Walkers will find the Eden Valley riverside walk a particularly viewsome path. Rumble over to the nearby town of Carlisle for added activities like swimming. Carlisle also provides a cinema for romantic evenings of fun weekends with the kids and several restaurants and shops serving a range of delicious dishes and drinks. If physical exertion is not high up on your list of things to do, why not hop on a steam train ride and chug your way through the verdant countryside, passing a thundering waterfall along the way? Englethwaite Hall Caravan Club Site has hardstanding bases with optional electricity, seasonal pitches and fully serviced plots for touring vehicles. Sorry, no pets are allowed on the camping fields.
