Stybeck Farm

Stybeck Farm is an adults-only campsite located on a peaceful working farm, a mere 3-miles from the shimmering reservoir of Thirlmere. Wake up at your pace, dig into a delicious breakfast courtesy of fresh eggs and their vegetables as you survey the spectacular scenery, soak in the sunshine and savour the relaxing atmosphere of camping out amid rolling greenery. After breakfast, you can opt to sit back and unwind with a book or head out to get better acquainted with the local area. Guests who feel up to an active day of sightseeing and exploring can lace-up walking shoes and kick off a heart hike right from the comfort of their pitches. The farm is an estimated 10-minute drive from Keswick and Grasmere, while the shimmering water body of Thirlmeren rests a smooth 2-miles’ away. Thirlmere shimmers and sparkles under the towering peaks of Blencathra and Skiddaw in the backdrop and serves as an ideal spot for hardy hikers, resting easy 7-miles’ from the base. A 10-minute stroll leads to Derwentwater, an excellent base for launching boats. Ullswater and Windemere are half an hour’s drive away, and a handy bus stop at the end of the lane rumbles to these destinations frequently. Stybeck Farm has powered asphalt campervan pitches and welcomes well-behaved pets.
