Park Foot Holiday Park rests a mere mile from the picturesque village of Pooley Bridge, along the Howtown Road, on the eastern side of the stunning Lake Ullswater that inspired Wordsworth and Coleridge. The couples and family-friendly holiday park offers both camping and self-catering accommodation on the banks of Ullswater. Set amid magnificent scenery, this well-equipped and spacious park boasts a private beach and launching facilities free for guests. Angling enthusiasts can fish on the Lake Ullswater for perch, still water trout, pike and schelly wild brown trout. The fishing season kicks off from the 15th of March to the 30th of September. A rod license is required. Paddle around the lake in your craft, or hire a paddleboard nearby. There are three camping fields with generously spaced grass pitches, all equipped with electric meters. The plots are best suited for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans, and each field has a modern toilet block and shower. Guests who wish to treat themselves to a sumptuous stay can scroll through a list of enticing self-catering abodes ranging from cabins and cottages to Woodside houses and barns. A range of excellent amenities, including a clubhouse, evening entertainment, games room and on-site restaurant, are available. Pets are welcome.Tents and campervans go in the fields together, but all caravans and motorhomes must be on hand standing pitches.There are no access issues for large motorhomes on our site.
