The Estate Patterdale is a gorgeous, five-pitch, Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location for member’s only, located on a private 300-acre Lakeland estate. The site rests on the southern tip of the stunning and peaceful Ullswater valley, at the foothills of Helvellyn, amid ancient wild woodland, next to Grisedale Beck. All five pitches are hardstanding and have ample space for awnings. Each pitch comes equipped with an electric meter and a picnic table to savour the tranquil atmosphere and absorb the scenery while munching down on delicious locally sourced grub. Amenities are limited to a cold water tap, chemical disposal, access to a launderette nearby and a payphone. All guests have access to a private foreshore, so feel free to amble down for a quiet afternoon of fishing and boating. Landlubbers can trot down with a well-stocked hamper and enjoy a lovely lake view picnic a short stroll away. The site rests in the heart of the stunning Lake District, with many walks kicking off right from your doorstep, including lace Fell, High Street, St Sunday Crag, Fairfield, and Helvellyn. Local shops, restaurants, pubs and a post office are an ideal 10-minute stroll away in the villages of Glenridding and Patterdale. Dogs are welcome all year round.
