Gibraltar Farm Campsite is a peaceful, family-run, traditional campsite on a working farm with extensive vistas over Morecambe Bay. Lush fields and thick woods adjoin the site, providing pet owners with a serene space to exercise cooped-up canines. Spectacular sunsets and beautiful dark skies allow stunning views of the stars and constellations and create delightful settings for an evening of stargazing. A small wildflower garden attracts bees and butterflies and bursts into an array of beautiful colours in summer. There are numerous walks nearby for the adventurous types and splendid spots like RSPB Leighton Moss Reserve, which is ideal for budding ornithologists. A bus service stops a short stroll away from the grounds, and the small village of Silverdale serves up arguably some of the best beef and onion pie you’ll ever have.
