Peartree Farm is a friendly, compact C L site nestled on a peaceful working farm, within easy reach of numerous scenic walking paths. The scenic, quiet site rests a mere five-minute trot from the picturesque village of Adstock, which holds a cosy pub (The Olde Thatched Inn) that serves up an excellent array of homemade food and real ales. Adstock, though small, brims with history and is full of character, so go ahead and spend an afternoon pottering around the peaceful village. Peartree is a minimal site, holding just five generous pitches with optional electric hookups for tents, campervans and motorhome. The campsite earns rave reviews for its excellent communal amenities, including toilets, hot showers, drinking water access and chemical disposal. Kick back on your spacious plot and soak in views of the romantic, rolling countryside around, sprinkled with grazing animals and wide-open space that are perfect for scenic rambles or a quiet picnic or two. The cheery owners are working farmers who are not available on the site at all times. This may suit some guests perfectly, especially if you’re the type who enjoys being left alone. A mobile number is displayed for campers to reach them if they are out with the cattle. Friendly canines are most welcome to tag along.
