Live it up on a rural stay at The Old Dairy Farm, a small, independent family-run farm positioned on the edge of the picturesque village of Stoke Hammond. The site enjoys a prime position, a mere ten-minute detour from the M40 located at buzzing Banbury, and provides campers with a handy base for motorway stopovers and extended holidays. Stretch out and observe the local wildlife as you soak in the laid-back atmosphere on this spacious 26-acre farm nestled between the sparkling waters of the River Ouzel and Grand Union Canal. Fishing folk are in a splendid spot for securing all types of water-based species at both lakes and the Alders Farm Fishery nearby. Walking enthusiasts can work up a sweat as they follow serene walking routes like the Grand Union Canal towpath, plus ambles to the Three Locks Pub plus the Stoke Hammond Village Shop, located an ideal two-mile trot away. The small ones will have heaps of fun making friends and feeding the pygmy goats on-site. Free-range hens often come to have a nose around the campers, and the tots will have heaps of fun observing the birds as they scratch the ground. A sizeable recreational field is perfect for tiring out the nippers before bedtime. Barbeques and campfires are encouraged. Pets are most welcome.
