Hale Farm Campsite is a serene, spacious site set on working, family-run farm that extends over fifty-six lush acres in rural Sussex. The campsite rests at the head of the Cuckmere Valley on the Weald Way and offers guests a little slice of tranquillity to escape from the schedules and timetables of everyday life. Unwind the midst of England’s romantic, rolling landscapes as you soak in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy access to a range of well-maintained amenities. Immaculate communal facilities include toilets, showers, composting toilets, and a washing up area. Ice pack freezing is available, and all amenities are disabled-friendly. Hale Farm is an excellent base for the outdoor explorer, offering access to the South Downs National Park as well as the natural settings of High Weald and the coast. Pack a picnic, hop in the car with the family, and take in the scenery as you rumble along meandering roads. If you’d prefer to take in the vistas on a walk or via a bike, feel free to add exciting locations like Drusillas Park (located fifteen minutes away) to your itinerary. Sun worshippers and thalassophiles are ideally located just forty-five minutes from the golden sands, rolling waves and amusements of seaside resorts like Brighton and Hastings. End the day with a delicious barbeque meal courtesy of the free-range eggs, sausage, and bacon available at the campsite. Campfires are encouraged and pets welcome.
