Swallowtail Hill is a peaceful campsite tucked away on the grounds of a small East Sussex farm, now serving as a prime example for bio-diversity in the area. The site is often used to denote the opportunity to create a thriving landscape if managed and carefully conserved. Sit back and enjoy the lovely traditionally managed scenery brimming with wildflower meadows, hedgerows bursting with wildlife, shimmering ponds with reed beds and stunning coppice woodland, offering campers a delightful space for relaxing ambles. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere perfect for a deeply calming holiday escape, and let out a sigh of contentment, knowing your impact on the environment is minimal. There are two cosy wooden cabins plus two quirky cottages on wheels which are the owner’s eccentric designers, providing campers with a unique yet comfortable camping abode. Each unit has ample sleeping space for four on one double bed and a single bed. Enjoy the traditional delights of camping as you build a campfire under the stars and cook your meals courtesy of the kit box provided by the thoughtful owners. Items like pillows, sheets, duvets, covers, blankets and towels are available on arrival, so just pack the essentials for the road. Sorry, no pets are allowed on the premises.
