Abbotstone Wood Camping

Abbotstone Wood Camping

Located: Campsites in Alresford, Hampshire

Abbotstone Wood Camping is an ideal base for a family-friendly escape where guests are welcome to enjoy the thrills of sleeping under the stars. Open countryside settings paired with the freedom to huddle around a campfire make this cracking campsite a perfect spot for returning to nature and shaking off the stress of modern life. Free spirits will love the opportunity to pitch up in a quiet corner that takes their fancy and soak in the rolling countryside scenery. At the same time, the nippers run wild in the ancient woodlands and fields, returning exhausted but exhilarated from their open-air activities. Kids and big kids will forget to check their phones, tablets and laptops, having great fun singing and talking around a flickering campfire, eating slow-cooked food, the old-fashioned way, under the shimmering night sky. The lush surroundings are perfect for gentle strolls and exploring, while charming towns like Alresford provide plenty to uncover on a day out. Abbotstone Wood Camping is a tent camping site with no frills and a non-commercial atmosphere. Guests are welcome to make their fun without the use of a clubhouse or evening entertainment, at this back to basics campsite, with no electric connections. Amenities are limited to the essentials and include a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, and drinking water points. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
