Midgham Farm is an award-winning Feather Down representative, providing adventuring sorts with a scenic woodland setting that has been in the same family since 1970. Today, the spacious and peaceful farm is home to farm horses, who share the premises with two friendly goats, plus two wee pygmy goats, pigs, four species of ducks, free-roaming chickens, fluffy lambs, two guinea pigs, and a very playful calf who often thinks he’s a dog. When the kids aren’t making friends with the goats, helping the farmer collect eggs, and patting the wee lamb, they have ample green space to run wild. It’s easy to tucker the kids out before bedtime, without the need to leave the site, as handy swing rope, climbing ropes and sand pits with sit-on diggers are available for play. The farm often welcomes new arrivals in spring, bringing more animals to meet, and the birth of piglets and foals usually occurs on-site. Owners Henry and Sammy Syke reside on the farm with their son, daughter, and two dogs and extend a warm welcome to enjoy the communal campfire and spacious tent abodes on a well-deserved escape from the rat race. Dogs are only welcome on the premises during the low seasons.
