If vibrant Winchester adventures are on the cards for your next escape, consider setting up camp at Morn Hill Caravan Club Site, a spacious, well-maintained, beautiful park nestled amid the verdant and entirely peaceful settings of the South Downs National Park. The site is quiet, green and perfect for barefoot strolls and nights of stargazing, yet rests on the edge of the lively city of Winchester, opening up a wealth of local amenities and historical attractions to uncover on urban days out. Guests are welcome to use the site as a centre point for exploring the cities and the countryside from late March to early November, with invitations extended to both caravan and non-caravan members. There are 103 grass pitches with optional electric meters generously spread out into two main areas, segmented by trees and shrubs to provide each plot with a sense of privacy and shade during the sweltering summer months. A wealth of naturally enticing landscapes call out to the explorative types, and the added convenience of the quaint local ferries nearby remind one of the nostalgic days of yore. Change up the pace with visits to Winchester, which boasts numerous historic buildings. End the day right, stoking the fires under a sizzling barbeque grill as the stars sparkle above. Dogs are welcome.
