Ashridge Farm Caravan Club Site is a centrally located site, yet rests within such peaceful, lush settings; campers can be forgiven for assuming they are miles away from the bustling cities. The centrally positioned site offers near-instant access to the A1 for adventures further afield. It rests a short trot away from the picturesque and historic village of Ashwell, providing quick access for local amenities and the opportunity to uncover the charms of its 14th-century church and its 15th-century cottages. There is an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and village shops for days you’d like someone else to do the cooking. The meandering country lanes that crisscross the area surrounding the campsite are ideal for cycling enthusiasts, who can soak in the sights and sounds of the countryside while pedalling along scenic routes. If natural beauty is more your vibe, follow a network of handy footpaths that lead across the tranquil, gently undulating rural surrounds. Head out for urban explores in historical attractions like the University of Cambridge, located a short drive away, or marvel at the exhibits at the Duxford War Museum and Shuttleworth Aircraft Collection. If you fancy a change of scenery for a day or two, hop on the train from Ashwell or Morden and explore the buzzing capital of England. Pets permitted.
